Two Options for Battery and Range
Tata has introduced the Tiago EV in two battery variants.
- First Variant: Features a 19.2kWh battery, producing about 60bhp of power and 110Nm of torque. Its MIDC (Modified Indian Driving Cycle) range is stated to be approximately 250km.
- Second Variant: The more powerful variant comes with a 24kWh battery, delivering 75bhp of power, 114Nm of torque, and an MIDC range of approximately 315km. The 24kWh variant will be more suitable for those who enjoy longer drives.
Real-World Range Performance
Although the MIDC rating suggests a range of up to 315km, the 24kWh variant offers a real-world range of approximately 180–200km, considering factors like traffic, AC usage, and driving style. Whether it’s the daily office commute, dropping kids at school, or a couple of long drives a week—this car is practical for every situation.
